About Ryan
Hi, I'm Ryan, a UX/UI Designer based in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. I enjoy simplifying complex product problems, whether that's for enterprise platforms, consumer apps, or emerging AI tools.

Currently at Copia Wealth Studios, I'm working alongside a team building a wealth management platform on web and iOS, focused on alternative portfolios and AI tools for analysis and decision making.
Previously, I spent almost a decade working both on-site and remotely with Calgary based agency Robots & Pencils. I had the opportunity to work on web, iOS and Android apps across a range of industries including: aviation, finance, healthcare, education, and energy. I worked with clients such as WestJet, Shaw, ATB Financial, Xinja Bank, Varo Bank, Lyra Health, University of Texas Austin, Enmax Energy Corp, The Government of Alberta and GOV.UK.
Across 14 years in product design, my work often sits between visual design, UX, design systems and product strategy. Occasionally mixing in marketing and brand work too. I’ve worked closely with small startups and large organizations, often embedded remotely within product teams across North America, UK, and Australia.
Away from work, you’ll usually find me in a hockey rink stopping pucks, at a live show, helping my wife with her screen printing apparel shop, or spending time with my little guy outdoors.
