Senior Product Designer • UX/UI • Web & iOS
I led UX/UI on Deal Space, an AI-powered product built to support investors and teams through due diligence, analysis, and deal collaboration. Working closely with engineers, I helped bring the product from ideation through delivery, designing the AI-assisted experience.
Researching How Investment Teams Evaluate Deals
A major part of the work involved understanding how investment teams and individuals actually approached new deal due diligence. I explored how teams gathered research, tracked repeating questions, identified risk, and moved between documents, notes, conversations, and analysis. These insights helped shape a product experience that aligned more closely with real deal workflows .
Balancing AI Constraints to Deliver Faster Insights
Designing the AI experience meant navigating context windows, token limits, and large document sets. The challenge wasn’t simply generating analysis. It was finding where AI could provide real value through summaries, repeatable actions, and reports without overwhelming users.
The result was a more structured approach to deal evaluation that helped teams surface signals faster, reduce diligence overhead, and move from fragmented reviews to faster decisions.
Building AI Experiences Around User Needs
The project gave me hands-on experience designing AI experiences within real user workflows,. We had to balance practical constraints, reliable outputs, and user trust in the experience.
The work helped investors shape a more structured approach to deal evaluation, uncover unforeseen risks and compress review cycles from weeks to days.
